On the Fourteenth Day of Christmas

We cleaned.  Clothes and house.  Then we rested.  Oh yeah, we rode bicycles.  All in all, it was a very nice day.  It's still in the 80's here but by Thursday and Friday, the temps are supposed to go down into the 60's.  I guess I could write about some of the things I love about Florida.

I absolutely love the birds here.

The lizards are everywhere and all sizes.  We opened a washer the other day and a lizard jumped out.  There are thousands here in this park.

The plants.  Poinsettias grow like shrubs here.

The colors of the homes here are wonderful.  I love all the color.

The manatees.  We actually saw two about this size the other day when we went to Ft. Pierce.  They were in the water around the boats anchored there.  We were up close to them but could only see their backs.  They're HUGE.  This is just a good picture I found of what they look like.

Those Florida seniors (that is, we old folks coming down from the more northern states).
Senior Biker Bar

You got to love them.  You see a lot of this here.

Our feet by the water.  (last year's picture when we stayed at Keaton Beach on the way home)
Night all!
