I posted for today, got my shower and put on my jammies. Then I realized, I wasn't done posting. Did I tell you how much we love our home on wheels? It is so comfy in here. We really have a lot of room. We took out the sofa bed and put in a couple rocker/glider/recliners. They are so comfortable. We took out one of the benches at the dining table which opened up some space. Our bathroom has a good size shower and a separate potty room. We have a full kitchen with all the appliances. We have a pantry for our food stuff and lots of closets and cabinets for other things. We also have a ten foot garage area on the back end with all kinds of room for whatever. Mike installed shelves down both sides and since we didn't bring the Harley (because of Mike's hand surgery) we hung some of our clothes in there. We have a separate bedroom. Our bed is more comfortable than the bed we have at home.
We love our home on wheels. Everywhere we go, we have our own bathroom and our own bed with our own sheets and pillows. We carry our kitchen, fully stocked, everywhere. What more could we ask for? Okay, hot doughnuts would be nice, but that's it.
We absolutely could live full time in this. I truly believe that. Every park we stay in, so far, has a laundry house. We can buy books at Goodwill, read them, and leave them for the library of whatever park we're staying in. That way, we don't have to carry our library with us. I also check them out on my tablet which works great.
We have really discovered how very little we truly need to live and be extremely happy. We never have to yell to get the other's attention. We can speak in normal voices and be heard: "Mike, can you bring me a bottle of water." We're always within earshot of the other person and within a few steps.
Yep, we're so happy in our home here and if we get tired of where we're sitting, we can pull up the jacks and move to another place anywhere in the United States we want to visit. We are blessed.
