Did you know that we love to read? Every rv park we have stayed in has a library. I think that is amazing. I would like to share some of my favorite things with you.
Wouldn't this be awesome down in the woods?
Our house would look like this if Mike would allow it.
I usually read fiction. I read all kinds of fiction. I even read a lot of books that your kids would love because they are clean and adventurous. Some of the books I have read lately are:
A Redbird Christmas by Fannie Flagg (Fannie Flagg writes humorous books)
Iron Lake by William Kent Krueger (detective books)
Thunder Bay by William Kent Krueger
The Pilgrim's Progress by John Bunyan
The Magnificent 12 (The Call) by Michael Grant (children's books)
The Magnificent 12 (The Trap) by Michael Grant
The Books of Elsewhere - The Shadows by Jacqueline West (children's books)
Crazy Love by Francis Chan
Forgotten God by Francis Chan
The Survivors Club: A Thriller by Lisa Gardner
Miss Peregrines Home for Peculiar Children by Ransom Riggs (sci-fi/fantasy)
Dragon Slippers by Jessica Day George (fantasy)
The Eighth Day by Dianne K. Salerni
The Inn at Rose Harbor by Debbie Macomber
The Blue Door (Threshold Series) by Christa Kinde
Contaminated by Em Garner
Contaminated 2: Mercy Made by Em Garner
Mister Max - The Book of Lost Things by Cynthia Voigt (children's book)
The Eye of the World by Robert Jordan (fantasy)
Fablehaven by Brandon Mull
The Great Hunt by Robert Jordan (reading at present. This is book 2 of The Eye of the World)
I'm also reading "New Spring: The Novel" by Robert Jordan
Mike's reading a series of books by Brad Thor
So, there it is--a menagerie of books. I would like to say, if you have never read "The Pilgrim's Progress" do. Also Francis Chan's books are great. The rest are just fiction of mysteries, humor, fantasy, thrillers, and science fiction. We read when we're just sitting around. Books are way better than television. I made sure every room in our house has books in it. I'm addicted to them. I have always been addicted to them and will always be addicted to them. As you can tell by what I read, I'm still pretty much a kid at heart (maybe in mind too). Some may consider it nonsense. I consider it a great movie played out in my mind. So there!
Well, just a little bit of insight into the lives of Mike and Melanna (mostly Melanna).
Check out a book at the Library. Check out a book from the library on your Kindle and you won't even have to leave your house. It's free. Totally. READ! I never leave home without a book.
Let me know what you're reading.
