WayToo Excited ! ! !

I'm so excited about this next leg of our journey that I can't sleep.  We're both excited.  There is just so much there to do and/or think about doing.  They have major league baseball spring training camps here.  We're going to watch major league teams in training.  We have beaches to walk on.  There are museums.  The Henry Ford and Thomas Edison Museums for example.  There are wildlife centers, gallery walks.  They built a walkway that allows you to walk from one end of town to the other.  This goes for miles through different wildlife parks, history walks, and mural walks. There are warm mineral springs here--the world's largest mineral spring.  SEAFOOD RESTAURANTS!!!!!
Okay, I love, love seafood!  There is so much that I told Mike, we'll just do what we can and save some for another time.  We will definitely return next winter.  Like he was told by another retiree, "You have to learn to get out of vacation mode."  That's what we need to do.  We just need to keep doing as we've been, so far, and get up every morning, have our coffee, and hit the streets in our walking shoes.  Only here, we'll be able to walk all day and probably not even get tired because there will be so much along the way to look at.  When you have such views as these, walking doesn't seem like exercise, even when walking hard and fast.
I've been awake since before daylight.  By 9:00, we'll most likely be on the road to our next rv park.  Good bye, Lakeport, Florida.  We most likely will not ever stay in your little town again.  We weren't really impressed with it.  There is absolutely nothing here, no grocery stores, no phone service for us.  We had to drive over to the next town to even buy gas.  This park could be beautiful if the owners cared and if the people living here fulltime cared. But, sadly, they don't.  DON'T THEY REALIZE THEY'RE IN FLORIDA WITH SO MUCH TO DO AND ALL THIS AWESOME WEATHER?  I guess not.  Anyway, it served us well while we were here but it will be the last time.  Next time we come to the area to visit with Ann, we'll stay in Okeechobee even if it costs us a little more.
Speaking of cost, we have spent more on one week vacations than we have spent with our camper in the past almost two months.  I've kept track of every penny.  It was more than twice this when we vacationed in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico and that was only for a week at a time.  Thoses are great memories!
We still thank Stan and Sherry for talking us into bringing our camper.  Were we crazy or what thinking of just driving down here and staying in hotels?  Crazy is right!  We would have returned home by now.  We have still spent less on rv parks for almost two months than one week in a hotel.  That's amazing.  What a great blessing, the Lord God gave us when He pushed us in the direction of buying this 5th wheel and truck.  Thank you, Lord.  We love our home on wheels.  We haven't even gotten tired of each other's company in smaller quarters.  WE LOVE IT and WE LOVE EACH OTHER.  We are each other's best friend.  Thank you Lord, for bringing us together.  You did it and we know it.
Mike is up and already emptying tanks for the road.  So I need to get our toast done and secure a few things.  TTFN
