Monticello, Florida

Tonight, we're in Monticello, Florida.  We're only here for the night.  We're staying at "A Stone's Throw RV Park".  It only has about 17 spaces, but we only needed one spot.  They were all drive throughs.  We saw their ad on a sign on I-10 and gave them a call.  The lady said they had several drive through spots and we wouldn't need a reservation.  We only needed a place for the night.  She also said she was not in the office  and they were on an honor system.  We were to pick a spot and leave our cash or check (only $28) in the box at the office.  Wow!  How often do you hear that?  So that's just what we did.  There were several vacant spots and we picked the one we wanted and set up for the night.  It's all gravel spots.  But it's okay.  We drove into Monicello.

If you haven't been there, you need to check it out.  It is such a quaint little town.  We drove around a little, then picked a Mexican Restaurant "Rancho Grande".  It was great!  We got there at a good time (around 4:30) because it was non-stop people coming in after that. The food was great and the service was wonderful.  The houses in the town were so pretty.  If you love antiquing, this is the place for you.  The town is full of little antique shops.  After dinner, we walked around town.  Mike took this picture while we were walking.  So now it's almost 7:00 PM and we're getting showers and relaxing with our computers to surf the webb.  What did we ever do before computers?
