It started raining in the wee hours of the morning and has never stopped. Thank you, Lord, for putting into Mike's mind to drive here a day early. We are safe, all set up in our spot and dry. So far this morning, we've just been sitting here in our jammies drinking coffee. What a laid back day. We're warm and dry. The temperature is in the 40's but tomorrow will be in the 60's and sunshine. YAY! We have big plans tomorrow to visit the Battleship Memorial Park and actually go through a Battleship. I have no doubts we will be there all day.
I'm sitting here on my laptop journaling and Mike is on his laptop laughing at pictures of people in Walmart. He laughed and said, "Can you believe this? We pull a tin can around and spend our day sitting in it." Yep, that's us! And to quote David Bowie:
"For here am I sitting in a tin can, far above the world. Planet earth is blue and there's nothing I can do."
I changed it to suit our circumstances:
"For here are we sitting in a tin can, far away from home. Mobile is cold and wet and we can't get out yet."
No, we are not going stir-crazy. We're just having a great time in a tin can.
